Tru Bath Water Filter Removes Chlorine, Dirt and Odors
The Tru Bath Water Filter with Replaceable Cartridge is a compact bath ball filter designed to reduce chlorine, sediment, dirt and unpleasant odors as your bathtub fills. It treats incoming tap water at the spout, helping improve water quality and providing cleaner-smelling filtered water for bathing.
This bath tub filter is intended for chlorine, sediment and odor reduction. It is not a water softener and does not remove the dissolved calcium and magnesium minerals that cause hard water.
How the Tru Bath Water Filter Works
The filter attaches to most standard bathtub spouts and treats the bath tub water before it enters the tub. As water moves through the cartridge, physical filtration layers help trap dirt and sediment, while the treatment media help reduce chlorine and unwanted odors. No permanent plumbing changes or tools are required.
Easy Installation
- Turn off the water and remove the filter from its packaging.
- Check that the replaceable cartridge is properly seated and that the housing is securely closed. If the cartridge is packaged separately, install it according to the included product guide.
- Connect or hang the unit on the bathtub faucet as shown in the included guide, positioning it so the stream flows into the filter rather than around it.
- Turn on the water gradually and make sure it is passing through the filter and flowing freely into the tub.
- Fill the bathtub as usual.
- After filling the tub, remove the filter, allow it to drain and let it dry completely before storing it.
Replaceable Filter Cartridge
The included cartridge provides filtration for approximately 30 baths. Actual service life may vary with local water conditions and use. Replace it after about 30 baths, or sooner if water flow decreases or chlorine odors return.
